Golconda, Kentucky

Yesterday, in Sebree, Pastor Bob welcomed us into the recreation center of his church. We had heard from bicycle riders that Bob was the man to see about a place to stay for the night. His wife did our laundry. We got a shower and slept on couches. We played ping pong. The pizzeria up the street served a good pie and we ate too much. We were well rested the following morning and ready to head east.

We rode to just outside Golconda and found a church with its massive cellar doors open. Besides a hose and riding lawnmower, the area was deserted, so we set up camp. Shannon and I rode into town to get groceries for dinner. We woke up early to avoid being discovered by anyone.
